Dining

DANGER! Reading our menus can prompt increased salivation, stabbing hunger pains and loud stomach rumbles. And while our menu has some deliciously light options, it is bound to be torturous for people on “no-carbs-no-protein-no-fat” diets.

Restaurant Lurleen's

Specialises in modern Australian cuisine - a confident mix of premium local ingredients with flavours & cooking styles reflecting Asian and European influences.

Restaurant Lurleen’s is headed by TV celebrity chef and international fresh food warrior Andrew Mirosch. A seven-times American Express gold plate award winner, Andrew has a history of passionate commitment to fresh regional produce. So much so that a few years back he moved to a small tropical island, cheffed at night and spent his days as a commercial fisherman, using environmentally sustainable fishing methods.

Extraordinarily, Andrew did this for seven years before becoming our Executive Chef. Today, like a marvellous cabernet, his skills have become rich and deeply silken. His years as a fisherman has only sharpened what was already an obsessive focus on the freshest, best and cleanest produce, particularly locally grown.

SUMPTOUS SETTING

Restaurant Lurleen’s is a mult-million dollar dining destination. Its large and imposing design is accentuated by huge bluestone towers and the warmth of exposed wood.

Generosity is a hallmark: From the proportions of the restaurant itself; to the efficiently warm approach of floor staff; to the flavours and pride poured into our meals.

SERIOUSLY FRESH FOOD PEOPLE

The philosophy is simple. Fresh is best.

Achieving that - to the standards Lurleen’s requires - isn’t always so easy. But it does happen. Day in and day out. And it has seen Lurleen’s produce modern cuisine that uses local produce to critical acclaim.

Local produce is preferred whenever possible. At least two-thirds of the produce used in our restaurant is sourced locally.

Seasonal vegetables grow plump in the nearby mountain ranges and red-soil family farms. The pure waters of Moreton Bay are a corner store for Lurleen’s seafood menu. Sirromet itself grows a selection of organic herbs, spices, fruit and vegetables on site.
