Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Role:

To ensure continued success we are searching for a highly skilled Digital Marketing Coordinator – Social Media and Content Creation to join the Sirromet team.  The key focus of this role will be to grow and bring awareness to our brand through digital marketing.

This full-time salary role will be working predominantly Monday to Friday, with the flexibility for occasional weekends and after-hours work.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Drive brand awareness and revenue through digital channels
  • Creative Execution of content strategy including all photography and videography
  • Deliver the brand marketing strategy for new and existing products
  • Monitor, maintain creative copy elements on Sirromet managed (WordPress) in line with strategic direction.
  • Coordinate collection of data for both venue and offsite events and manage import of data into gcast system.
  • Work with marketing team in the execute and automation of remarketing strategy
  • Utilise the database to deliver online sales activities
  • Produce innovative, creative, and engaging content across all digital channels
  • Possess strong communication and copywriting skills across all channels, adhering to brand voice and including blog creation, feature articles, press releases, brochure copy, website copy, social media copy
  • Capture and edit photographs for social media and website posts
  • Monitor and evaluate statistics for each campaign using tools such as Google Analytics and effectiveness of web strategies and promotional activity.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline
  • Passion and drive to succeed while working in a very busy environment
  • Must be confident in writing about a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms – websites, Instagram, Facebook, articles, social updates.
  • Experience using WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Gen3 or Survey Monkey/Mailchimp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pintrest, LinkedIn
  • High level of computer literacy including MS Office
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to get involved at all levels
  • Solid sales understanding, ideally in online marketplaces
  • Motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Positive, engaging, and enthusiastic personality
  • Superb presentation and grooming
  • Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Physically fit to be able to complete set-up and pack-down of activations
  • Passion for wine with the eagerness to learn more and share this knowledge
  • Own reliable transport as there is no public transport to our premises
  • Right to work in Australia with no restrictions

On-Site Cellar Door Sales

The role:

We are looking for a casual staff member to work in our On-Site Sales department. As a member of the Cellar Door On-site Sales team your key focus will be to increase wine sales to visitors through tours and wine tastings at our Cellar Door using your natural sales ability. Your working week would include Saturday and Sunday with full availability to work across the weekday rosters.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Wine and membership sales in our Cellar Door
  • Wine tastings
  • Conducting tours of our property
  • Participating in wine training to ensure high levels of product knowledge

What we are looking for:

To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

  • Passion for wine with a strong wine knowledge base with the eagerness to learn more and share this knowledge
  • Recent experience in a wine sales environment
  • A WSET qualification is advantageous, but not mandatory
  • A friendly and engaging personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to present to both small to large groups
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Superb presentation and grooming
  • Own reliable transport as there is no public transport to our premises

To comply with the upcoming Queensland Government’s COVID restrictions regarding Hospitality venues, the successful candidate MUST be double vaccinated for COVID-19 and proof of vaccinations must be provided before they are able to commence in this position.

Food & Beverage Attendants

The Roles:

We are currently seeking experienced food and beverage waitstaff to join our team! As an experienced, self-motivated and passionate hospitality professional you will have a natural ability to build rapport quickly with our guests to ensure they receive a memorable experience when they visit Sirromet Wines.

These casual positions will suit someone who is able to work a variety of shifts, weekends are essential as are late nights working over a 7-day roster.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience or people with a passion to learn in a food and beverage environment
  • Experience working small to medium scale functions and events would be advantageous
  • A genuine commitment to making every guest feel special
  • Positive, engaging and enthusiastic personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superb presentation and grooming
  • Available to work a variety of hours including shifts on weekends, early mornings, late evenings and public holidays
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is essential for this role
  • Own reliable transport as there is no public transport to our premises
  • Full working rights within Australia
