Students of the Granite Belt Wine School program, presented in Tokyo, Japan by Wine Australia A+ Specialist Educator and Sirromet Brand Ambassador Minoru Numata, are welcomed by Granite Belt wineries this week. They are partaking in a special Granite Belt wine tour experience, seeing for themselves the unique qualities, history and diversity of the region.
The Granite Belt Wine School has been an initiative driven by Sirromet Winery Chief Winemaker Adam Chapman and Mr Numata San in collaboration with fellow Granite Belt wineries Jester Hill, Ballandean Estate, Hidden Creek and Ridgemill Estate. The program is designed to educate Japanese Sommeliers on the unique terroir, climate and elevation of the region, showcasing the diversity of premium wines each winery produce. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24: Sirromet Wines of Queensland exclusively launched their home delivery USA business this week at a private exhibition held at the Beverley Hills Hilton Hotel CA in partnership with the Last Chance for Animals Gala ball.
US celebrities Priscilla Presley, Mena Suvari, Donna D’Errico, Kim Dejesus, Roxy Darr, Adrienne Janic, Bonnie-Jill Laflin, Australia’s own Nicky Whelan and Hugh Sheridan to name a few, enjoyed a selection of Sirromet’s wines at the charity event.
Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia (‘UWEA’) announced today the inclusion of Sirromet – UWEA’s first Queensland member winery.

Family-owned Sirromet Winery, located just 30 minutes from Brisbane, and renowned for putting Queensland wines on the map, is set to open 18 superbly appointed tents for guests who enjoy a side of ‘glamping’ with their grapes.
The new ‘Sanctuary by Sirromet,’ due for completion in May 2018, is Queensland’s first vineyard glamping accommodation experience. Its nature-based style will complement Merlot House – the existing four-bedroom open plan guesthouse situated on the Sirromet grounds – and create a unique addition to owner Terry Morris’s multi-faceted winery business.
“We have wanted to create extra accommodation here at Sirromet for some time but it needed to be something unique and in keeping with the natural surroundings,” said Sirromet owner, Terry Morris

Sirromet Winery Cellar Door located at Mount Cotton is now offering dedicated Mandarin speaking winery tours. Available 1pm each Saturday and Sunday, the 90-minute experience takes visitors behind the scenes of the state-of-the-art winery facility, gaining an insight into the winemaking process and concluding with a private wine tasting of 8 Sirromet wines.
The new experience is designed to further enhance the unique home delivery service currently offered by Sirromet. Established in 2012, Sirromet’s home delivery offering allows visitors to purchase wine for home delivery in country, with Chinese distributors located in Nanchang (Jiangxi Province) and Beijing.
