PALATE: A juicy, fruit driven, dark rich intense sparkling red, well balanced, pretty, soft, and showing forest red berry fruit, rhubarb, light yet textured creaminess, with a tight bead.
WINEMAKING COMMENTS: A unique style, using Petit Verdot works well in sparkling red styles, but to the tannins, the bright vivid colours and the hardiness of the skins. A good grape variety to use for sparkling reds, balance is the key and Petit Verdot has those balanced requirements.
