NOSE: Intense, ripe aromas of apricot, mandarin and orange marmalade.
PALATE: A medium to full-bodied style with intense varietal characters of ripe apricot and nectarine skin. Notes of vanilla and coconut from short time in oak add a creamy, textural palate with fine citrus acidity and just a touch of residual sweetness to finish.
WINEMAKING COMMENTS: Good example of varietal Viognier. Crushed, pressed and fermented in tank with aromatic yeast. A small portion was aged in French oak before being bottled young and aged for a short time before release.
FOOD MATCHING: Enjoy with slightly smoked cheddar, dried fruit and roasted nuts.
