COLOUR: Bright purple edges with dark blood like hue shimmering through.
NOSE: Exotic aromas of dark cherry and blueberry intertwine with touches of lavender.
PALATE: Seamless fruit integration of spicy plum and ripe brambly fruit are harmoniously supported by delicate ripe tannins.
WINEMAKING COMMENTS: A warm finish to the 2019 Vintage delivered ripe tannins and fantastic colour pigmentation to the skin. Destemmed, crushed and placed into open top fermenters with a French yeast strain added. Twice daily pump overs delivered exceptional fruit and colour extraction with purity in the completed wine. Pressed to stainless steel to complete malolactic fermentation prior to be stored at 0˚C for a period of 3 months. Finally filtered through a coarse filter to bottling.
