Join us for one of Sirromet’s most cherished winter traditions — an evening of fire, flavour and fine wine at the annual Burning of the Vines.

As the cooler months settle over the vineyard, we gather to celebrate the completion of harvest and the changing of the seasons with an unforgettable dining experience overlooking the vines.

On the Evening

Hosted exclusively at Tuscan Terrace by the Morris Family, the evening begins with a seasonal menu featuring expertly paired Sirromet wines introduced with each course by our Head Winemaker, Jessica Ferguson, accompanied by live acoustic music and the warmth of great company.

As night falls, guests will witness the lighting of the vines — a long-standing vineyard tradition originating in France. Marking the end of harvest and winter pruning, grapevine cuttings are ceremonially burned to cleanse the vineyards and welcome the new season of growth. It is a time to reflect on the vintage just passed and look forward to the one ahead.

Following this spectacular moment, enjoy dessert and continue the celebrations as the evening unfolds.
